The floodwaters may have receded in Rockland County, but they've left a muddy mess behind.

Parks and recreation workers in Clarkstown say the Lake Nanuet Pool is closed for cleaning because of runoff from floodwaters.

"Certain times we can vacuum it up and reopen it, but this time there was too much mud, so we had to empty it out and as it was draining we power washed it," says Superintendent of Parks JoAnne Pedersen.
