Well, now the alarm, it is Food Truck Friday. And today ice cream emergency is here, Shannon Lanier is outside of our studios. Very cool. Some cool whip. I am actually going on a little sugar high right now because I've been eating all of the sweets here at the ice cream emergency. I have Ed and Carol with me and we are having a great time because they have the best job ever scooping ice cream and changing lives. And it is kind of a theme going on here. You're in a make shift bus. I don't know if we can show a little bit of the bus. It's wrapped from the ceiling to the floor to the walls. Everything is all about ice cream and it being in a makeshift emergency vehicle. So talk to me about the theme because you guys have name badges. They're sco how awesome is that? Oh, it's great. You know what we, we, as we say, we're saving uh lives one scoop at a time. So we are a scoop and we're gonna make you an official scoop. Oh, really? Oh, I'm getting done with a, this is not a stethoscope. This is a stetho scoop. Yeah. Oh, I, I get a badge too bad. Now, what does this mean? I have to do cause you scoop a lot of ice cream. So yes we do. We could do about 100 people an hour. So you're gonna need to speed up and we're gonna give you a couple coops of ice cream to make a sundae. Oh my gosh. Ok. Before I do that Carol, can you tell me a little bit more about all these badges? If you look here on the wall, there's a bunch of badges. Well, every time we go to an event, we have people come on and give us some, some badges and police the troops over there, which is really great. One of our dear to our heart and my brother Vinny too. And um, we just like we love it when someone comes on who happens to be at the event and happens to be a police officer and comes on and says to us, can I give you my badge or one of the badges that they have so they can be represented on our wall? So, and I love how Olivia is represented. You're a former dog as well. Gotta have that there. We named the bus Olivia. She passed away about a year and a half ago. So, so the bus is named after her. We're gonna do her justice today and scoop of ice cream really fast in record. Time. Ok. I'm gonna need your expertise and lead me through what I need to do. Carol, start the timer. Are you ready? Get my scooper. We got the ball. Go. There you go. Two scoops. Oh, we're gonna need big scoops. Those are little scoops. Come on. Ok. There you go. There you go. Now you can do whatever you can fit in. Keep going. Yeah. All right. Let's get a little sauce on there. Chocolate caramel, marshmallow, caramel. There you go. How about some whipped cream? Oh, ok. And, and there you go and every Sunday needs a cherry. There you go. All right. Come on. What was my time? 10, 31.10 seconds. I think I have a part time job. Maybe a weekend job. I am ready. This is gonna be Lisa. So I'm taking her this to Lisa and Matt. I'm gonna let them eat my match piece. Magic Shannon. Thank you so much for that. But right now something to lift your spirits. It is Food Truck Friday and today ice cream emergency is here, Shannon Lanier is outside our studios right now with them getting the scoop on this super cool truck. Shannon, you got your hands full there. I am getting the scoop on all of these side item toppings as well as what's happening here on ice cream emergency food truck because this place is amazing. Take a look at this. We're gonna step back and show you this whole area. We have Ed here, we have Carol here. They are running this franchise truck and it is amazing and I'm getting hungry, but talk to me how you all came up with this idea for this food truck that is decked out in a very unique type of vehicle. So I actually saw it at an event. Uh, it was designed by Debbie and uh Tony Arado and they, they wanted to open an ice cream parlor and they were in the city going to a show and they got passed by an emergency vehicle and they both like ding the bell rang and they said this is what we have to do. And unfortunately Tony is an architectural engineer and he designed this bus and did such an amazing job. So, tell me how it works because it is pretty cool. People come in the front door and then they get what has come to this. Let's, let's scoop some ice cream. What do we do? So, we, uh, you come in, we, we pick your ice cream. I know you want, you want vanilla. Ok, so we're gonna give you two nice scoops of vanilla. Oh, it looks nice and soft too. Yeah. Well, it's a, this is a Nelson freezer. It's a perfect ice cream freezer for scooping. And then we have all of these toppings right here. Multiple things. I like cinnamon toast. Crunch. Ok. So we, yeah, we currently have uh 12 toppings on the bus. We have uh 10 over here. We have two nut toppings in the back. Plus we have six sauces. We have chocolate caramel, marshmallow, hot fudge, strawberry and peanut butter sauce. Ok. Now, can I get as many toppings as I want? You? Absolutely can as much as we can fit in the get some peanut butter on top of that. We have Carol here. She's gonna assist us. Thank you, Carol. That. Now see I put little uh cereal on because it feels like I'm eating breakfast, right? Milk and cereal. You got it. Yes, that's great. Now you guys aren't like on the street just hanging out where do you go to serve your customers? So we do parties and events, you know, it, it's really an experience. So we do weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, sweet sixteens birthdays we've done from a one year old birthday to an 80 year old birthday. We do corporate events. Matter of fact, we did the new 12 picnic just last week. Yeah, and did a great job. Everyone was raving about it. You know, I can't have this without a little topping on it. Carol. Do you mind doing the sure any time? How, how fun is this Carol cherry? So this is so much fun. I can, I have to tell you that when we do summer camps, it's probably the best because the kids come on and they just love it. And when I say to them, do you want marshmallow sauce? They light up and that's like it just makes your day when you see these kids light up like that. So I need some marshmallow sauce then OK, put some marshmallow sauce on top of that. I'm gonna start enjoying this and a cherry on top because you got to top it off and I'm gonna start enjoying this and send it back to you guys in the studio. But you gotta let me know what kind of flavors you all want. Uh Listen, just in case you missed it, that's whipped cream and marshmallow sauce for Shannon. So he's gonna be jazzed up for the whole entire morning, bring back some chocolate and of course you gotta ask Matt about what he wants a little later. Shannon. Thanks so much.
