The nomination of former Rep. Marc Molinaro to lead the Federal Transit Administration will go before a U.S. Senate committee tomorrow.
Molinaro was nominated in February. He served one term in the 19th District before losing last November.
He was Dutchess County executive for 10 years. In 2018, he ran for governor but lost to Andrew Cuomo.
The Transport Workers Union of America supports his nomination, citing his record of standing up for transport workers and the public.
