A former Hastings music teacher will spend the next three weekends in the Westchester County Jail after violating probation, according to a court clerk in Hastings-on-Hudson.

Michael Rubino, 65, of Hartsdale, was sentenced Wednesday night in village court.

Rubino pleaded guilty last year to endangering the welfare of a child after admitting he hugged and kissed a student without her consent. He was sentenced to two years of probation with sex offender conditions and ordered to stay away from the victim for five years.

Authorities said Rubino violated his probation earlier this year. Details of the violation were not released.
