The recent separation agreement between the City of New Rochelle and its former city manager, Kathleen Gill, has left many questions unanswered.
After 16 months in the position, Gill's departure remains undisclosed, with the agreement explicitly stating that the circumstances behind her exit will not be revealed.
As per the agreement terms, Gill will receive a lump sum payment equivalent to four months of her salary. Additionally, she will be compensated for up to 40 of her unused vacation days and up to 140 sick days. The city will continue to provide health insurance coverage for Gill until she secures another job.
In the interim, Deputy City Manager Adam Salgado has assumed the role of acting city manager.
