Former President Donald Trump rallied Sunday at Madison Square Garden – just over a week out from the general election.
Those who attended the event told News 12 that they waited a very long time to get a spot inside.
“He’s not running again, and this is the last one before the election,” said Trump supporter Eamon Ball.
“It’s kind of the end of an era with all the rallies he’s done.”
Trump seemed to match the excitement of his supporters about being in the big apple.
"I’m thrilled to be back in the city I love. Thousands of hardworking American patriots, you’re with me. We’re together, we’ve always been together," Trump said.
Trump then headed to his next campaign stop in Atlanta Georgia.
