A former school employee in Ulster County is facing charges for sexually abusing two female students, according to the Ulster County DA.
Reid Kappler, 32, was the wrestling coach in the Saugerties School District. He has been indicted for child sex abuse, the DA said.
The incidents happened multiple times between 2023 and 2024, prosecutors said. Kappler is accused of taking advantage of a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old.
He was arrested earlier this month at his home in Connecticut and is expected to return to court in October.
