Former Yonkers Police Commissioner John Mueller has a new job.
Mueller was named as the MTA chief of police. Mueller spent 28 years on the force in Yonkers with the last three as commissioner.
In his new role, Mueller will oversee the more than 1,000 member MTA Police Department.
MTA police are responsible for patrolling and securing the authority's region, which spans from Long Island to the Hudson Valley.
