Authorities say Hausman was a physical education teacher at Yonkers Middle High School when he harassed one of his female students over several months through text messages and in-person contact. He was arrested last July.

When he is sentenced in April, he has been promised a sentence of two years probation. There will also be sex offender conditions. A permanent order of protection will be issued, and he will surrender his teacher’s license.
