The annual Music Fest & Fireworks show is back at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla.

It featured music, food and other vendors.

Organizers expect around 18,000 people to attend this year.

Officials with the Westchester Parks Foundation believe the good weather this year is playing a role in the higher attendance number.

For many in the Hudson Valley, this festival has turned into a big tradition, especially watching the firework show.

"You feel it, it goes through your whole entire body. Everyone starts bonding, it's really amazing," says Westchester County resident Rachel Siegmund.

Admission and parking was free but carpooling or taking mass transit was suggested.

Fireworks started around 9 p.m.
