Thursday marked day two of the fragging trial of Staff Sgt. Alberto Martinez, who is accused of murdering two Hudson Valley soldiers. It was also day two of technical issues for the victims? families trying to watch the trial from New York.

The families of First Lt. Lou Allen, of Orange County, and Capt. Phil Esposito, of Pearl River, gathered at West Point to follow the court proceedings on video, but again, technical issues prevented them from hearing or seeing witnesses? testimonies.

According to West Point, the technical issues are on Fort Bragg?s end, in North Carolina. News 12 Hudson Valley tried to get in touch with Fort Bragg, but was unable to get through.

If convicted, Martinez faces the death penalty.
