The Orange County farmers battered by Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee are finally getting on the road to recovery.
The state Commissioner of Agriculture and Markets Darrel Aubertine visited Warwick and got an update on local farms that were completely flooded out, twice.
Some black dirt fields looked like lakes after the storms ripped through the area in late August and September. Aubertine says he saw a lot of progress at the Myruski farm, where he says funding from recovery efforts has helped in repairing washed out areas.
