A fight between two rival gangs led to the arrest of 13 students Monday at Ramapo High School.
East Ramapo Central School District Deputy Superintendent Joe Farmer says the fight broke out at about 11 a.m. in the school's cafeteria and moved to the hall. According to school officials, three students in need of medical attention were taken to local hospitals.
Farmer says the school briefly went into lockdown but that things later returned to normal. He says after a hearing some of those involved in the fight could be thrown out of school permanently.
