When you're getting your garden together for the season - there are so many plants to choose from. Have you thought about adding citrus?

Meteorologist Alex Calamia breaks down which plants will bring you the most fruit this summer in this week's Garden Guide.

There are 100s of citrus varieties and some are more cold tolerant than others.

An Owari Satsuma grows fresh flowers and blooms in the spring and fruit throughout the summer and in the fall is ripe.

Then there are Meyer lemons, but the problem is they are fruit heavy, so the heaviness takes the energy from the plants. Most plants you can gather over 30 lemons.

Lastly, there are Kumquat Centennial Variegated - a tiny citrus that you can eat whole and it handles the cold well.
