A 35-year-old man is facing charges in connection to a fatal hit-and-run.
Police say the accident happened Friday on Route 303 in West Nyack.
A witness told police that a white SUV hit a man riding an electric scooter and then fled the scene. The witness then called 911.
Authorities say Patrick Sharkey III, of Garnerville, later turned himself in to Clarkstown police.
Sharkey is facing multiple charges, including leaving the scene of a fatal accident. His bail is set at $150,000.
