Gov. Kathy Hochul has announced a proposal for major train improvements across the Hudson Valley.

New 12's Lauren Del Valle reports that the proposal aims to cut Metro-North travel time, increase capacity and improve safety.

A direct train route from Poughkeepsie to Manhattan in just 90 minutes is also included in the proposal.
