As Black History Month begins, the 'Greenburgh Black History Museum Initiative' is set to illuminate the rich and diverse history of the area.
New exhibits at the Greenburgh Public Library will be updated biannually, showcasing the contributions and stories of African Americans.
Among the displays, visitors can explore photographs of national leaders who once called Greenburgh home.
A committee consisting of more than twenty local residents has been actively involved in planning these educational and cultural exhibits.
