A Greenburgh firefighter has been sentenced to three years' probation following an attack on his ex-girlfriend.
Joseph Apostoli was convicted of third-degree assault in a non-jury trial.
He was sentenced on Monday.
He seriously injured his partner during a domestic dispute last year at their apartment in Dobbs Ferry, according to the county district attorney.
The judge also ordered him to perform 100 hours of community service and pay the victim $1,600 for medical expenses.
A permanent order of protection was also issued.
