Greenwich police say a search warrant was executed last month at the home of Kristopher Chimblo after a tip that he illegally had firearms.
Detectives say the 36-year-old had firearms and gun parts in his possession.
An arrest warrant was issued for criminal possession of a firearm.
Chimblo was later found and arrested in Westchester County as a fugitive.
