The sounds of gunshots sparked a lockdown and sent students scrambling to safety at a Bronx elementary school Wednesday.
Residents say they heard five shots fired in front of P.S. 107 at 1680 Seward Ave. About 30 people inside a nearby housing project say they ducked for cover during the gunfire. Witnesses say they discovered that a bullet had gone through a window at the housing project.
Police told News 12 The Bronx that no one was injured and they don't have any suspect yet.After-school activities are canceled at the school until Monday.
