Here are some headlines from across the Hudson Valley.
State police say two people were killed, and a person was injured in an overnight car accident in Rockland County. Authorities say the incident was the result of a wrong-way crash in the northbound lanes of the Palisades Parkway between exits 9 and 10 at around 2:30 a.m. The third person injured was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
A wild animal warning has been issued in Rye Brook after multiple reports of bobcats in area. Police posted photos on social media. Officers are now patrolling the area of Rockinghorse Trail and Country Ridge Drive. They recommend closing garage doors, as the animals may try to take refuge there from the cold.
Vehicle thefts continue to be a problem in Clarkstown. Police are reminding residents to take precautions to prevent theft, as they continue to combat the crime. Tips include taking valuables out of your vehicle, locking the doors, and turning on an outside light.
