Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
A former Armonk attorney is now facing charges after allegedly stealing money from her clients. Officials say real estate lawyer Laurieanne DeLitta stole more than $3.5 million from eight clients over the last four years. She is facing eight counts of grand larceny and two counts of unauthorized practice of a profession. She'll be back in court Nov. 29.
Police say burglars entered one of the 72 storage units at the Columbia Self Storage in Warwick and stole two Honda CRV motorcycles. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Town of Wallkill Police at (845) 692-6757.
Hackers broke into the computer systems at Putnam-Northern Westchester BOCES earlier this week. A district spokesperson says the attack happened on Sunday. It resulted in the BOCES Yorktown and Fox Meadow campuses closing on Monday but were reopened on Tuesday. It's not believed that any student or staff data has been compromised.
