Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
Police say a Beacon man stabbed a woman last week inside her Dutchess County home. They say Max Kleiner, 31, was still inside the home on Wolcott Avenue when officers arrived. The victim was treated at a hospital and later released when she was stable. Kleiner was arraigned in Beacon City Court and is being held at Dutchess County Jail. He faces assault, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal mischief charges. It was not immediately clear if the two knew each other.

Two men have been arrested and charged for a pair of Yonkers shootings on St. Joseph Avenue and Beaumont Circle. Police arrested Deiandre Phillips for the shooting on St. Joseph Avenue on Jan. 20. Ricky Towns has been charged for the shooting on Beaumont Circle on Jan. 24. In both incidents, victims were struck by gunfire and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Both are now facing attempted murder and other felony charges.
A fire at a Yonkers restaurant is now being investigated as arson. Fire officials say the blaze destroyed a Yonkers restaurant on Saturday. They say the fire started in the kitchen of a Jamaican restaurant located in a building on New School Street. No one was injured. About 60 residents from the building next door were evacuated, but later returned to their homes once officials determined the building wasn't affected.
