Dmitriy Nazaryev, a White Plains resident, faces charges for allegedly assaulting a woman on the Bronx River Pathway. The incident occurred after a near-collision while biking, leading to an argument. Nazaryev later returned to punch the woman in the face.
Frank Whittaker and his daughter, Christine Ellsworth, of Ulster County, face grand larceny charges for allegedly stealing over $280,000 from a 92-year-old victim. They gained the victim's trust, obtained power of attorney, and used the funds for personal expenses, including a new truck, clothes, and casino visits. Both face up to 15 years in prison.
A cement truck driver was pulled over in Rye for carrying an overweight load without a permit. The truck, loaded with 10 yards of concrete, exceeded the weight limit by over 18,000 pounds. The company received four summonses, and the vehicle was towed.
