A Westchester County family is now facing charges for allegedly stashing dozens of illegal guns. The three North Castle residents were indicted for having nearly 50 guns in their possession. The Westchester DA's office says weapons include 18 semi-automatic rifles and shotguns, two machine guns, and a ghost gun. Theodore Brandon and Helene Brois now face a total of 34 charges.
A Hawthorne man is facing charges for allegedly stealing an antique firearm from a Military Expo event in the Town of Patterson. Police say Richard Pareti confessed to taking the 1861 Navy Round Barrel Revolver - he's charged with grand larceny. He's due back in Town of Patterson Court at a later date.
A Monroe man accused of trafficking a woman from out of state and repeatedly raping her for days has been charged in the case. Ciro Valle Robles, 52, was remanded to Orange County Jail on $100,000 cash bail. The victim says the sexual assaults took place over a seven-day period in late April in a Monroe residence. Police say a search warrant was later executed at the residence leading to the recovery of evidence.
