Three Poughkeepsie men are facing charges for their alleged role in a home-invasion style robbery in the Town of Pleasant Valley. Investigators say the trio stole cash and injured two people when they broke into the home in July. One defendant was arrested in November, another last month. and the third last week. All three are being held in Dutchess County Jail. Sheriff deputies say the victims were specifically targeted and there is no danger to the public.

A Dutchess County man is facing charges after police seized 28 ounces of cocaine and fentanyl in a drug bust. Bryan Whittle is facing felony drug charges - and charges for having two illegal loaded ghost guns in Pleasant Valley. The bust is part of an investigation into rising drug overdose deaths from fentanyl sold in bags stamped with a Chicago Bulls logo.

A New York State Thruway worker is back on the job after a driver fell a asleep at the wheel and crashed into their truck in a Westchester work zone. State officials say it happened Friday in Port Chester on I-95. Thankfully, they say the employee only suffered minor injuries and bruising. State police say the driver who fell asleep while driving was not ticketed.
