The shops, "Puff Puff Pass" and "Soljie's,” both located on Broadway in Newburgh, were targeted in the operation. Officials emphasize that the unlicensed sale of cannabis deprives the government of significant tax revenue.
A man is facing charges after allegedly shooting at a vehicle with a woman and two children inside in Poughkeepsie. The incident occurred on Tuesday in the area of Carroll and Franklin streets. Jonathan Brown has been charged with attempted assault and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the incident.
