A woman from the Town of Ulster will spend seven years in state prison for slashing her boyfriend with a knife. Ariel Supple was convicted of felony assault for the July 2022 attack. The victim was treated for several injuries and required more than 20 stitches.
Yorktown police are working to find the person who broke into cars parked in the North County Trailway parking lot. On Wednesday afternoon, someone broke the windows of three cars and stole purses and laptops. Anyone with information is asked to call 914-962-4141.
North Castle police are seeing a rise in pick-pocketing incidents. They say thieves use distraction techniques to swipe items and sometimes travel in groups. When shopping, police recommend wearing a cross-body bag to keep your cards and wallet near you.
