Police say a man is facing child endangerment charges in New Rochelle after an incident earlier this week. Noe Calderon approached a 13-year-old boy at his lemonade stand off North Avenue on Tuesday. Calderon is accused of trying to exchange numbers with the boy. He was found shortly after the boy and his parents reported him.
One person is dead after an accident on the "Old Yellow Freight" property on Thursday. State police say the incident happened at the company's location on Homestead Avenue in Maybrook. The victim died at the scene -- but authorities wouldn't confirm any additional information about the accident. Yellow Freight shut down its Maybrook operations last summer. A source told News 12 that workers were on-site, picking up tractor-trailers that were recently purchased at an auction.
Officials have identified the victim of a deadly house fire in Ossining. They’ve identified the man as 38-year-old Jesse Maccabee. The fire broke out at 366 Spring St. Maccabee died at the hospital. Police say the fire does not appear suspicious.
