Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
A man is recovering today after being shot in the village Nyack. Orangetown police say the shooting happened early Saturday morning near the Riverspace Municipal Parking lot. Officers patrolling in the area say they heard multiple gun shots fired. A 34-year-old man suffered two gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital.
In Central Nyack, Clarkstown police are investigating after a report of gunshots. The call for help came Friday night bringing police to Waldron Avenue. Several shell casings were found in the road. So far, no victims have been identified.
Family and friends said their final goodbyes to one of the Hudson Valley's oldest war heroes, Armando "Chick" Galella.
