An off-duty NYPD officer was shot in the arm near Tompkins Avenue and Railroad Avenue in Yonkers on Tuesday morning. Detectives are actively investigating the incident and seeking public assistance. According to investigators, the suspect fired multiple rounds at the officer while he was in his car before fleeing the scene. Twenty-eight individuals are facing charges following a significant crackdown on the "Young Gunnaz Gang" in Orange County. U.S. attorneys revealed that the gang was involved in drug trafficking, fraudulent schemes, and targeted shootings of rival gang members across the state, with many crimes concentrated in Newburgh and Poughkeepsie. Some charges carry sentences of 20 years to life in prison.
