A Peekskill man is charged with murder after Sunday's fatal shooting at a bar in Yonkers. Police say Yaguba McGougain, 29, was at a party at Duo Tapas when several fights broke out. Officials say McGougain was ushered out and then grabbed a handgun from a parked car. He then fired at least three shots, striking two employees, and killing Antonio Antoine-Filis.
A Brooklyn man is dead after an accident in Ulster County. Sheriffs say the victim's UTV overturned on a frozen lake in Wawarsing. First responders attempted CPR but the man died of his injuries at the lake. A second passenger was also injured.
There's a new warning out about wild animals after bobcats were spotted in Rye Brook. Police posted photos on social media. Officers are now patrolling the area and recommend residents close their garage doors and always keep their dogs on a leash.
