Heavy rain has caused flooding that will affect the morning commute across the Hudson Valley.
News 12 meteorologists say the last of the heavy rain pushed through around 5:30 a.m. The rain has caused lane closures due to ponding of water. Flooding has closed the Bronx River Parkway in both directions at Main Street in White Plains.
They expect scattered light to moderate rain showers through around 10 a.m. Sunny skies are expected to break out behind the showers quickly this morning. It will remain windy with gusts between 15 mph and 30 mph.
Thursday is expected to be partly sunny with highs in the low-70s, and a few spotty showers may be possible on Friday. The weekend is expected to be dry with temperatures in the low to mid-60s.
