Members of the band Metallica are helping local students straight to graduation.

The heavy metal band's All Within My Hands Foundation awarded Rockland Community College a $25,000 grant.

The money will be used to provide scholarships for students enrolled in the CDL class, a commercial driver training program.

Additionally, the grant will expand opportunities in the school's manufacturing workforce development programs.
