Hispanic professionals from across the Hudson Valley gathered at Rockland Community College yesterday to discuss their careers and the importance of diversity in the workplace.

Participants say it was a good way for students of different backgrounds to learn about Hispanic heritage as well as careers they may want to pursue in the future.Victoria Koesterich is one student who was grateful to get some advice. "It really inspired me to go out there and do the best that I can do.," she said.
