Holiday shoppers were out in force Monday after the weekend's snowstorm kept many home during a historically busy time for stores.
At the Palisades Center in West Nyack, shoppers such as Mary LaPorta, of Nyack, said they were trying to make up for lost time.
"I'm trying to get my last-minute shopping in," LaPorta says.
To help ease the pre-Christmas shopping frenzy, Macy's is staying open around the clock for the next few days.
