Film crews are once again on location in Orange County.
A movie called the "Price for Freedom," starring Paul Sorvino and Sally Kirkland, will be filmed around the county for the next three weeks. The film crew shot scenes Monday at the Paramount Theater in Middletown.
"We are shooting at the old psych center in Middletown. We're shooting at the TD Bank building across the street," says producer and screenwriter Kenneth Del Vecchio. "We shot at Touro medical school. We're shooting at Orange County Airport."
"I would say this is very good for Orange County and everyone should realize the economic potential of it," says Sorvino.
The movie is based on the true story of an Iranian-Jewish dentist who helped people escape Iran after the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
The "Price for Freedom" will be the opening night movie at the Hoboken International Film Festival at the Paramount Theater. The festival is scheduled to start May 29.
