The Home Energy Assistance Program officially became available for Sullivan residents on Wednesday.
The program provides funding to have trained professionals inspect, service and even replace furnaces, boilers, stoves and other heating equipment at no cost to homeowners.
After Nov. 1, the program helps pay for fuel to heat your home.
Eligibility is based on income, household size and the primary heating source.
