WHAT'S NEXT: Next chance for showers/storms arrives Friday afternoon/evening with a cold front passing by. 
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says Thursday will be warm but without high levels of humidity.
He says some drought relief arrives Friday with storms. 
FORECAST:
THURSDAY: Lots of sunshine with high level clouds later in the day. It’s going to be rather hot, as temperatures will be about 10 degrees above average but thankfully without the high humidity. Highs: upper-80s to low-90. Overnight lows: low-70s.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies through the day with a threat of showers and storms for the evening rush. Some storms could be strong to severe. Highs: upper-80s to low-90s. Lows: upper-60s to 70.
SATURDAY: A mix of sun and clouds. Highs: mid-80s. Lows: upper-60s. 

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny through the day.  Highs: mid-80s. Lows: mid-60s. 
NEXT WEEK: Another threat of showers and storms is around early on in the week, along with warm to hot temps. The second half of the week brings a little “fall preview.”
