People across the Hudson Valley are bracing for bitter cold as temperatures are expected to drop into single digits by tomorrow morning.

At Rockland Car Wash on Route 59 in Nanuet, manager Kevin Guaman says he is going into winter mode to keep operations running.

He is sealing the facility with plastic and running a massive heater overnight to prevent water lines from freezing and to avoid icy hazards around the property.

"It's a lot of work. There are challenges. But I've been in the business for 15 years, so I know exactly what to do and how to manage it," says Guaman.
