Restaurants across the Hudson Valley served Easter dinners to families eating out Sunday.
At DeCosta's Italian Restaurant in Yonkers, owner Nuno DeCosta says this is their first Easter where they will be serving food outside.
He says they are keeping their restaurant at 50% capacity even though they are allowed to be 75% capacity just to be safe.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says it's safest to celebrate with your own household, but if everyone in the household is vaccinated, they can gather indoors without masks or social distancing.
"Even some vaccinated people aren't comfortable coming inside so having the outside seating set up early this year is a big help," DeCosta says.
DeCosta say the restaurant also does delivery and takeout.
