4 Hudson Valley schools named National Blue Ribbon Schools

Four schools in the Hudson Valley gained national attention.
Byram Hills High School in Armonk, Dobbs Ferry High School, Dows Lane Elementary in Irvington and Heathcote Elementary in Scarsdale were all named National Blue Ribbon Schools.
The award recognizes schools for academic performance or progress closing achievement gaps among students.
A total of 18 New York Schools received the honor this year.
