Several schools throughout the Hudson Valley have shortened their days this week due to hot classrooms.

Minisink school officials say the high-powered fans they've been using haven't been able to bring inside temperatures down to a comfortable level.

Elementary and middle schools in Minisink are dismissing early again on Friday.
