A dangerous new TikTok challenge has reportedly made its way to the Hudson Valley.
It's called the "Smack a Teacher" challenge, and the name describes exactly what it asks kids to do.
It’s a follow-up to the "Devious Licks" challenge that encouraged students to vandalize school property.
So far, an elementary teacher in South Carolina has already been assaulted as a result of this newest trend.
There is no word yet on if any school staff in the Hudson Valley has been targeted.
School administrators are sending out a warning to teachers and parents to be on the lookout.
Meanwhile, TikTok says dangerous challenges and illegal behavior are not allowed on the platform and will be removed.
