Hundreds attend sold-out eclipse viewing party in Yonkers

One child News 12 spoke with said he was grateful to witness such a historic moment at the museum.

The Hudson River Museum hosted a well-attended Super Solar Eclipse Viewing Party on Monday.
A staff member told News 12 that the event sold-out "at a capacity of 500" people.
Many watched the eclipse from a courtyard at the museum where they had several solar telescopes set up.
One child News 12 spoke with said he was grateful to witness such a historic moment at the museum.
"Someone's going to look back on this, and see how important it is, and we're a part of that," he said.
