An independent economic research group released the results of a study yesterday that it says shows the U.S. economic recession ended in 2009, but many in the Hudson Valley say the findings are a stretch from reality.
The National Bureau of Economic Research says the economy is starting to expand and grow after the end of the recession in June 2009.
With national unemployment hovering around 10 percent, most people in the Hudson Valley seem to feel that the recession isn't over, but maybe just getting better.
