This morning is cold and damp with areas of fog and drizzle. The drizzle will develop into steady rain after 11 a.m. and last for at least the first part of the afternoon. Rain will gradually move out by 4 p.m. this afternoon
High temperatures today will reach near 60-degrees with overcast skies and gusty downpours. Wind gusts will occasionally reach 30 mph at times this afternoon. Rain will end 4 to 6 p.m. and temperatures will drop into the 40s after 9 p.m.
Dry weather is expected for the entire rest of the week, but it will be chilly. High temperatures are in the 50s on Monday until a cold front arrives Monday evening.
A breezy rain shower is expected Monday evening in the lower Hudson Valley and in the upper Hudson Valley a few snowflakes could mix in; however, no accumulation is expected. Temperatures will quickly drop into the 30s Monday night.
Tuesday and Wednesday are colder with high temperatures near 50-degrees Tuesday and only in the 40s on Wednesday despite mainly sunny skies. Frost and freezing temperatures are expected Tuesday night and Wednesday night.
Afterward, mild weather returns with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s for the remainder of the week. No rain is expected.
