Drivers using Port Authority crossings are now facing new fees if their E-ZPass tags are not mounted correctly.
A new policy charges an extra $2 during off-peak hours and $4 during peak times if the tag is misread due to improper placement.
The agency released a video showing how to properly display the tag on the windshield to avoid the surcharge.
In addition, tolls by mail are also increasing under the updated policy.
