Indian Point siren system declared ready for service
deadline. However, the system, which is intended to alert residents in a 10-mile radius of the plant, still needs approval by FEMA. FEMA is conducting a review, which could take another month and a half to finish. That means Entergy could face another round of fines from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
