Iona Preparatory fundraises for hunger relief in Peru with 'Hunger Walk'

Iona Preparatory Lower School students gathered for a "Hunger Walk" to raise money for hunger relief in Peru on Friday.
Following a morning Mass, students walked down to Wellington T. Mara Field at the upper school in New Rochelle to march in solidarity.
Students solicited sponsorships for the laps they walked and have raised more than $50,000 over the last three years alone.
They passed their goal for this year of $12,000, but funds are still coming in.
